So I had a date with a covert boss babe, and there were a few interesting teachings. I leave it to you to find them before I make a tweet reply later on, addressing each point.
The lead-up to it already showed signs of what to expect, but I wanted to indulge in my morbid curiosity.
The chat preceding the date was of good banter (rare these days), yet I could feel she wanted to be in control.
The warning signs for BS on the date were there:
“It has been such a long time since I have had such a good chat.”
“A handsome guy like you.”
“I really like that you are making an effort to set the date.”
None of these were performative on my end; I was just being myself.
That was the first sign.
The day before the date, she casually let on that she had started her period.
I was 50/50 whether it was legit or not, but hey, whatever. Sometimes women will use that as a buffer to dampen the prospects of sleeping on the first date.
2nd sign.
Eventually came the day of the date, but she decided to take an earlier train to see me when I had planned to be there at the original time. I said that it’s cool, but I won’t be there to pick you up at the new time, as I had planned on the original one. I suggested that I call her an Uber to where I was instead of her waiting there to go somewhere closer to avoid wasting her time. She declined and preferred to stay where she was, saying she would wait for me for 20-30 minutes.
3rd sign.
When I met her, she did look like her pictures, just 10-20 pounds heavier... That’s a bummer. Her pictures were of a time when she was a platinum blonde with big boobs, and short like I like them. The problem with these girls is that when they put on weight, it gives them a roly-poly type of look. This was the case with her. Yet she made herself up and dressed as well as she could, so that was that. Yet she dropped the platinum blonde look for something more sober and mature. It really did feel like buying an out-of-style garment.
So we walk to the bar I had in mind, and we start ordering drinks.
